Les NPA permettent de rationaliser les opérations de tri et d'accélérer l'acheminement des envois. L'adresse postale ne correspond pas forcément au territoire de la commune politique sur lequel elle se situe; il importe donc de toujours se référer à la nomenclature officielle selon le découpage en NPA de la poste.
